Hello everyone!

First off, big thank you and great job to all of you who participated in rookie week.  I am so sorry I couldn’t be there to see you all, but from what I’ve heard, you have all done an amazing job.

Tuesday is our first full rehearsal.  Just a few reminders about that day.  Woodwinds have sectionals starting at 4:15.  Full band starts at 5:45.  Please be seated and ready to go right at 5:45 (so plan to come a little earlier to set-up).  We will be having a music rehearsal and a marching rehearsal so please bring everything you need for both.  Woodwinds, Drumline, and Guard – plan to bring dinner/snack (so that you can eat something small between your rehearsals).

Thank you everyone!

Just a few reminders.  Uniform fitting for pep band and other odd’s and ends will be held on the following dates.  Please plan to stay approximately half an hour after rehearsals to allow for fitting.  Don’t forget to say “thank you” to the uniform parents as well.  If you are unable to make a fitting, please contact me ASAP!

  • Percussion/Guard – June 20
  • Clarinets – June 24
  • All Brass – June 26

Also, don’t forget to turn in your instrument contracts.  If you don’t turn them in on time, you will NOT be able to use a school instrument and you must provide your own.  Contracts are due on the following:

  • Clarinets and Saxes – Wednesday, June 19

Thank you everyone.  Let’s have a great season! 😀
